For accommodation in Australia and New Zealand
our surveys have shown a distinct advantage in using sites that
have an Australian-base. They have a significant higher number of
properties to choose from and the prices are better than the
US-based sites.
The top-sites are from Flairview Travel (Accomline and
HotelClub - both sites are identical), while the OctopusTravel site is very solid also but
with fewer properties. If you are waiting for last-minute deals,
there is no shortage and it is possible to get better prices than
Accomline/HotelClub have, but not much. Our advice as usual is to
book as soon as your travel plans are firm.
