Likes: Size of the room and en-suite with everything provided for you. Much better and cheaper with breakfast than some of the chain hotels.

Brook Farm is a beautiful listed farmhouse with parts dating from the 13th century. The earliest part of the house was a medieval hall house and a huge low cross beam with a crown post on top spans part of the family room - so mind your heads! Later parts of the house date to late Tudor and Georgian times. In the front of the house there is a spacious twin bedroom and a double bedroom. In the oldest part of the house there is a family room, which can sleep up to five people. This room contains the medieval cross beam and crown post. Please note that access to this room is gained by ducking under this beam!
