What can i say, just wish that I lived here. Beautifully decorated rooms with luxury linen's and little touches that make a big difference. The weather wasn't as good as our first visit but with such a lovely room and cakes to go back to, who cares? Set in gorgeous countryside overlooking Holy Island with great walks, great wildlife, and lots of things to see and do in the area, a trip to the farne islands is a must. Walter and Gill are great hosts and the breakfast is the best we've ever had. Read less
Likes: The relaxing surroundings, both inside and out, the surprise cakes left in the room and the breakfasts.
Dislikes: This time, the weather but we can't change that.

"The Perfect Rural Getaway"
Fenham Farm B&B is the ultimate peaceful and luxurious getaway with easy access to Lindisfarne and Bamburgh Castle. Extremely welcoming hosts who couldn't do enough for us. Home made baking in our room along with coffee and tea. We stayed in Curlew which was spacious and had sea views, a super king size bed, bed settee and en-suite. Fittings were of the highest quality and so tasteful. Everything was immaculate. Breakfast was outstanding - we didn't eat again until 7pm! Superb value for money. Read less
Likes: Everything. This is a quality B&B and better than some 4-5* hotels we have stayed in in the UK. It is the perfect rural getaway.

Fenham Farm is located on the coast, overlooking Holy Island in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. For the birdwatcher and lover of nature, this area provides a unique opportunity to see and get close to some of the country’s rarest animals. In the autumn months, the sand flats that are exposed at low tide become a huge feeding ground for geese and waders from around the world. Converting the smiddy, cow byre and cartshed at Fenham has created 5 spacious en-suite rooms that are independent of the farmhouse and have individual front doors so your space is your own. You will enjoy modern comfort all round and will be kept warm and cosy by underfloor heating, even on the chilliest of days. All the units are decorated to an extremely high standard and boast feather down duvets and pillows and Egyptian cotton sheets. Breakfasts are cooked to order using local products wherever possible and fresh eggs from our own hens and are served in the dining room which is part of the farmhouse. Packed lunches can also be provided but must be pre-ordered. Evening meals are available at many local public houses and restaurants. We can provide a lift service for cyclists and walkers to the nearest ones. Northumberland is a land of contrasts, from the sandy beaches and rugged cliffs of the coast to the high wilderness of the Cheviot Hills, it is truly a region with something for everyone. For a more cosmopolitan day out with more shops, galleries and culture, take a trip to either Edinburgh or the bustling city of Newcastle upon Tyne – all around an hour away.
