Situated in the courtyard and overlooking our Stables with views to the Somerset countryside, this room with its original beams is now a lovely superior, king room with an en-suite shower and flat screen TV. There is space in the room to comfortably take either a cot or an extra bed. This room can be hired with Room 2 to form a secure family suite.

Or revel in the opulence of the stylish, en-suite shower wet room instead. French doors lead into a large private conservatory with views overlooking the rolling Somerset countryside, towards Longleat forests and The Westbury White Horse. For the family, there is a further bedroom accessed from the conservatory. A stable door takes you into a room with bunk beds that is big enough for a further bed for young children or teenagers. Let them enjoy their own space by watching tv or a dvd.

Situated close to Longleat Estate and Safari Park, The Place to Stay is privately owned and family run.The surrounding countryside views are spectacular and have to be seen to be appreciated. Set in the Somerset countryside but close to Bath, Glastonbury and Wells. These beautifully renovated farm buildings with exposed beams and rooms in the main Edwardian house provide contemporary individually styled bedrooms and impressive en-suite bathrooms with a range of luxurious extras. TV in every room and romantic packages available. Guest lounge, outdoor seating area and off-road parking are provided. Romantic packages and Swedish massage are offerred to make guests feel really pampered. The Place to Stay offers nine individually designed rooms, each with a luxury en-suite bathroom. Our accommodation is the perfect location for a romantic getaway, let us help you to create an atmosphere of romance. Relax knowing that we can add extra special touches* such as candles, chocolates, and rose petals to really make occasions such as an anniversary, birthday, honeymoon or valentines a time to remember.
