Magpies Information

Description

"Welcome to Magpies. Come and stay at our comfortable West Sussex home from which you can enjoy the many and varied attractions the area has to offer" - Jane & Kevin Hogg Magpies is an interesting house, the heart being an 18th Century barn around which the current house has been constructed. We are a Bed and Breakfast establishment. We have two NON SMOKING letting rooms. Hambleden, on ground floor, is a spacious room, with seating overlooking the garden, king bed and en suite shower room. Roundell, on ground floor, has a self contained suite of bathroom, separate toilet and large bedroom with super king or twin configuration off a private central lobby. Both rooms have outside access, TV, hospitality tray, fridge, hairdryer and free WiFi. We don't have facilities for babies or toddlers but this year we are being more flexible with family groups so give us a call for possible arrangements. We have blow up beds and Hambleden has a sofa bed. Also call direct for discounts. We have a friendly Springer spaniel who will give you a noisy welcome. The property has ample grounds including a part walled garden, various courtyards and seating areas and an outdoor heated swimming pool open in the summer. (If the weather is cold the pool water is cooler) We have plenty of parking, some covered. Magpies is situated on the A29 Stane Street, just on the outskirts of the picturesque village of Slinfold with its pub/restaurant, church and village shop. Magpies shares a drive with Random Hall Hotel which has a restaurant open to non residents. The historic town of Horsham is 4 miles away with its busy market and good selection of high end retail chain shops and restaurants. Nearby towns include Petworth, Arundel, Chichester and Brighton

Directions

  • Road from Horsham (4.0 miles)
Magpies can be found on the A29 Stane Street near the village of Slinfold. Our property is directly behind the Random Hall Hotel which fronts the road. The drive is shared with the hotel and vehicles should turn in as if to the hotel, then head straight on through the wooden gates and up to the house. Parking can be in the covered area or through a further five bar gate which is closer to the property.
