Lindisfarne House Information

Description

A warm and friendly welcome awaits you at Lindisfarne House, Bed and Breakfast. Lindisfarne House is a Victorian Guest House situated close to Keswick town centre but in a quiet location and central to the lakes, parks and theatre. We pride ourselves on our locally sourced produce and cater for special diets. We have en-suite facilities and all rooms have digital TVs, beverage trays, hairdryers and alarm clocks. Walkers and C2C cyclists welcome, we also have drying facilities for the occasional wet days Lindisfarne Bed & Breakfast is situated in Keswick, between the huge bulk of Skiddaw and the gentle beauty of Derwentwater, Keswick has become a major centre for tourism in the North Lake District. Explore the five major lakes, picturesque valleys and unspoilt villages with the mountains of Skiddaw, Catbells, Helvellyn and Scafell all within easy reach. Keswick is a wonderful area in which to try new outdoor activities or to extend your existing skills. There is plenty of activities and places to visit whilst staying at Lindisfarne House B&B. Walkers and climbers are spoiled for choice. From the high summits to forest trails and lakeside paths. There are always events taking place in keswick from the Jazz festivalheld each May ,the mountian festival in May, and our famous beer festival each june, to the keswick convention each july. The C2C (Coast to Coast) cycle route runs through Keswick, so if your attempting the cycle challenge, book a nights accommodation with us. If cycling is your thing try out the Altura Trail which is a challenging 19 kilometre red grade mountain bike trail with around 80% of singletrack. It is really aimed at good intermediate to advanced riders. The trail combines many man-made features like berms, jumps and "North-shore" with natural rock and root hazards. This is arguably a more difficult trail than the red's found at other trail centres.
