Hawthorn Farm Guest House Information

Description

Hawthorn Farm Bed and Breakfast is a 16th Century Grade II listed Farmhouse full of character. Being one of the oldest buildings in Buxton, originally owned by the Duke of Devonshire, it now has its fifth owners. Paul and Sarah moved into the property in the middle of April 2016 and look forward to welcoming you to their home. We have four rooms available for guests, two of which are in the main house and two are in the barn conversion across the drive. Rooms of all shapes and sizes can be configured to accommodate either one, two, three or four people. Also two self-catering cottages available, please contact the property for more details. All rooms have Tea and Coffee making facilities, televisions and free Wi-Fi throughout. Breakfast is served in the main house from 7:30 - 9:30 am. Typically we offer cereals, fruit juice, fresh fruit, yogurt, full English breakfast and any variations of that. Dietary needs or preferences can be catered for. Ample free on site parking is available for guests. The bed and breakfast is within easy walking distance of Buxton town centre where you will find a wide choice of cafes, bars and restaurants. The Buxton Opera House Theatre and the adjoining Pavilion Gardens offer a great variation of entertainments. On-site EV charging is available activated by the Monta app.

Accessibility

Four of our bedrooms are on the ground floor (Rooms 3, 4, 7 and 8) but are still at least one step to access the room. The usual route to breakfast via a garden path, has 3 steps but to make it easier access can be through the kitchen reducing it to only one step.
