Southover Bed and Breakfast Information

Description

Welcome to Southover Bed and Breakfast in Swanage, Dorset. Your hosts, Janice and Andrew, look forward to helping you to enjoy this wonderful area as much as they do. But in these difficult times it is important to feel safe, and Southover is perfect for this. You will have a totally self-contained space with your own access and key from outside. You will not need to have any face-to-face contact if you do not wish to. Southover is a modern home with every luxury you could wish for, built in traditional Purbeck stone, and located in a semi-rural setting above a lively seaside town in the heart of the Jurassic Coast World Heritage site. We are on the very edge of the town, next to open fields and offering blissfully quiet nights, yet only a short walk away, on pavements or across the spectacular Downs, from the town centre. The South West Coastal Path runs past the end of our road, and you can reach Durlston Country Park and Castle in minutes by road or footpath. Start your day at your leisure with a delicious breakfast from the goods provided in your private kitchen. Then choose from the many leisure opportunities which Swanage and the Isle of Purbeck offer. After a busy day of swimming, walking or sightseeing, come back to tea then relax in your spa bath, or take a long, hot shower, before sampling the great range of pubs and restaurants only ten minutes walk away in the town centre. In your kitchen, with a fridge, hob and microwave, you can prepare your own picnics or evening meals, or you can have a barbecue in our courtyard. The beds have fine cotton bed linen and you will find a pile of fluffy white towels. We even have beach towels on request. The room has flatscreen TV and we have a small library of DVDs at your disposal, plus a range of books, including a good selection of local history and guide books. Parking outside the house is unlimited and free. We can provide secure storage for bikes if required.
