Description

Within walking distance of all Ross restaurants, pubs and hotels where there is a wide choice of cuisine including Thai, Indian, Tibetan and Chinese as well as wonderful locally sourced English dishes. The White House was built in 1720 and retains much of the original character of the building. Each room is individual, has white starched linen on the bed, ensuite bathroom or shower and thoughtful extras for our guests. We also have two 'four poster' rooms. You will be offered a hearty breakfast (either full English breakfast or vegetarian, etc.). Early breakfasts and packed lunches available by request when booking. Special dietary requirements catered for. Winner of the Gold award for Ross-in-Bloom 2006 - 2009. Situated in The Wye Valley which runs through parts of Monmouthshire, Gloucestershire and Herefordshire and is an area of outstanding natural beauty forming the western border of the Royal Forest, separating England from Wales. This unique area offers endless opportunities for outdoor activities such as canoeing and fishing on what is perhaps Britain's most unspoilt major river.

Because of the Grade II listed building, the guest house is not suitable for guests with severe mobility problems. We have no ground floor bedrooms. We have two flights of stairs and three steps to access the building. Please ask us to email our full access statement or telephone to enquire about individual mobility issues. We do regret that we cannot provide greater accessibility and will do our best to assist, where at all possible.
