Situated 3 miles from Stratford upon Avon, you can relax after your journey in our peaceful setting on our sunny terrace in the summer, enjoying our spectacular views looking south over the Avon Valley. Guests have their own front entrance, sitting room and conservatory dining room, giving on to a large patio and mature garden. Breakfast is served in our Conservatory were you can enjoy the view, while sampling free range eggs and an array of locally sourced foods The picturesque riverside town of Stratford upon Avon is the home of William Shakespeare. Stratford has a wealth of beautifully preserved Shakespearean houses, including his Birthplace, it offers a unique insight into the life and times of the worlds greatest poet and dramatist. Visit his grave at Holy Trinity Church which rest along the banks of the River Avon, you can walk along to Bancroft Gardens, where the river meets the canal, there are barges and rowing boats, or take a river cruise to further explore the sights. The town has a great range of quality shops and restaurants, its arts and culture surround you, there is so much to enjoy in Stratford Upon Avon, which makes it a ideal choice for a short or long holiday.

A car is recommended when staying at the property
  • Road from Stratford upon Avon (3.0 miles)
    Take the A439 out of Stratford upon Avon for 1 mile. Turn Left into Ingon Lane, for 2 miles. At the top of the hill turn left into Kings Lane. SHAKESPEARE'S VIEW is the 3rd house on the left.
  • Road from M40 (4.0 miles)
    At junction 15 of the M40 take the exit off the roundabout sign posted A46 towards Stratford, for 2 miles. At the next roundabout take the second exit, which is still the A46, sign posted Snitterfield, for a further 2 miles. Ignore the first sign for Snitterfield; continue along the A46 under and little road bridge, round a left hand sweeping bend to the 2nd Snitterfield sign. Turn left off the road straight into Kings Lane. SHAKESPEARE’S VIEW 400 yds on the right.
