PLEASE NOTE- Check in after 11pm is by prior arrangement only CALL US FOR BEST RATES The Harrison is an independently owned freehouse, set in a quiet leafy residential street just south of the bustle of Kings Cross. It has been lovingly restored in keeping with the building’s Art Deco flair to create a light and airy modern bar. Locally renowned for its food, The Harrison serves high quality modern English cuisine at a reasonable price. The Harrison has four stylishly refurbished en-suite hotel rooms for the business or leisure traveller. Kings Cross has undergone a massive rejuvenation in the past 10 years and now features an increasing number of attractions and cultural establishments. The new British Library (5 min walk) has on display some of the world's most famous written and printed items, such as the Magna Carta (1215), Shakespeare's First Folio & original Beatles lyrics. Near The Harrison, the Foundling Museum (5 min walk) tells the story of London's first home for abandoned babies. Also the Charles Dickens House Museum is a few minutes walk away through the beautiful historic Mecklenburgh Square. The cutting-edge Gagosian Modern Art Gallery (5 min walk) regularly features free exhibitions such as Giacometti, Damien Hurst or Jeff Koons. The area also features a number of restaurants, bars, music venues, clubs and theatres. To the north you can walk along the canal to Camden Town or up Pentonville hill to the Angel, Islington. To the south lies the attractive Bloomsbury district, famous for its literary history, leafy squares and book shops. There is also the world famous British Museum (10 min walk) which houses a huge collection of cultural treasures from around the world, including Egyptian mummies and the Elgin Marbles. Accessibility

Hotel rooms are accessed by two flights of stairs, there is no lift available, although staff will happily assist you with your bags.

Directions

  • Train from Kings Cross (0.1 miles)
    Exit from the front of Kings Cross Station (Euston Road) and proceed down Grays Inn Road which is opposite to the left. Harrison Street is the fourth road on the right. The Harrison is located one block down on the corner of Seaford Street.
  • Train from St Pancras (Eurostar) (0.1 miles)
    Exit from the front of St Pancras Station on to Euston Road, cross the main road and turn right. At the end of the block turn left down Judd Street. At the third street on your left, turn left into Cromer Street. After the church turn right into Harrison Street. Follow Harrison Street round and The Harrison is on your right at the junction with Seaford Street.
  • Underground from Kings Cross (0.1 miles)
    Exit from the front of Kings Cross Station (Euston Road) and proceed down Grays Inn Road which is opposite to the left. Harrison Street is the fourth road on the right. The Harrison is located one block down on the corner of Seaford Street.
  • Road from Euston Road (0.1 miles)
    From Euston Road turn into Judd Street, opposite the British Library and St.Pancras Station. Judd Street has an O'Neils pub on the corner. Proceed to the traffic lights where you turn left on to Tavistock Place. After the square and the width restriction turn left into Seaford Street. The Harrison is on the left, at the junction with Harrison Street.
