Likes:
The room was very light and airy with great furniture. Both the room and ensuite bathroom were maintained to a high level of cleanliness.
Dislikes:
Unfortunatly the cooked breakfast seemed to have been left on a hot plate for a considerable amount of time and was absolutely dry as a bone when it arrived.

The Harrison is an independently owned freehouse, set in a quiet leafy residential street. It has been lovingly restored in keeping with the building’s Art Deco flair, to create a light and airy modern bar. The Harrison’s interior is finished in wood and leather with real coal fires for the winter and outside seating for the summer. Locally renowned for its food, The Harrison serves high quality modern English cuisine at a reasonable price.

The Harrison has four stylishly refurbished en-suite hotel rooms for the business or leisure traveller.

Kings Cross has undergone a massive rejuvenation in the past 10 years and now features an increasing number of attractions and cultural establishments. The London Canal Museum (7 min walk) commemorates London's waterways and new British Library (5 min walk) can be found next to St Pancras Station. On display in this iconic building are some of the world's most famous written and printed items, such as the Magna Carta (1215) and Shakespeare's First Folio.

Near The Harrison, the Foundling Museum (5 min walk) tells the story of London's first home for abandoned babies. Also the Charles Dickens House Museum is a few minutes walk away through the beautiful historic Mecklenburgh Square. The cutting-edge Gagosian Gallery (5 min walk) regularly features free exhibitions of world class modern artists such as Giacometti, Damien Hurst and Jeff Koons. The area also features a number of restaurants, bars, music venues, clubs and theatres.

To the south of The Harrison lies the attractive Bloomsbury district, famous for its literary history, leafy squares and book shops. There is also the world famous British Museum (10 min walk) which houses a huge collection of cultural treasures from around the world, including Egyptian mummies and the Elgin Marbles. Past the museum lies Tottenham Court Road (20 min walk), Soho and the West End Theatres
