Likes: Quiet residential location. Free car parking. The rooms were nice and cosy.
Dislikes: The pillows were dusty in the room. Other guests were drunk and noisy until 2-3am in the morning, the manager spoke to them but it did not help.
No breakfast served.

The Ivy Guest House is a listed Victorian town house located in the Festive city of Edinburgh which has been tastefully upgraded thus retaining many of its original features. It is a quiet family run establishment. The theme of the house is apparent as you pass through the well kept and colourful front garden with an Ivy Basket as its centre piece and rambling Ivy adorning the front of the building. Ivy House was built in 1874 and retains many original features of the period. It is a family run establishment recently under new management Business visitors, tourists, families and children are all made especially welcome. The colourful front garden has an Ivy basket feature and rambling ivy adorning the front facade of the building. Centrally located on the south-side of Edinburgh, one mile from the centre. An excellent bus service takes you in Edinburgh and its many cultural attractions within minutes.
