Likes:
The staff went out of their way, they kept the kitchen open after our late arrival so we could enjoy dinner. Our dogs were made to feel welcome, with biscuits and sausages thrown in.
Dislikes:
The service to the restaurant and bar area could have been better.

The Saracens Head Inn is located in the beautiful village of Beddgelert in the heart of Snowdonia.

The hotel stands beside the rushing River Colwyn beneath steep mountain slopes. The Saracens Head, with its comfortable rooms, excellent eating areas and welcoming staff is the perfect base from which to explore the countryside and coastline of North Wales. The fine scenery of the Snowdonia National Park is right on the doorstep - mountain-ringed lakes and rushing rivers, the famous beauty spot of the Aberglaslyn Pass, cool, green forests and, of course, Snowdon itself, the highest peak in England and Wales.

There is no need to leave your dog behind as we accept well-behaved dogs in our four Superior class rooms at no extra charge. They are also more than welcome in the bar area downstairs. Please let us know before you arrive if you are bringing your dogs with you.

Open throughout the year, we aim to provide a warm, friendly and relaxing atmosphere, personal attention and high standards of comfort and cuisine.
