"Lovely Break in Beddgelert"
We stayed for five nights in this well-situated hotel in the pretty village of Beddgelert. From the start we were received with friendly efficiency. Our bedroom, which had a pleasant view over the river to the hills, was very comfortably and well appointed/decorated, being part of a recent refurbishment programme. The scope of the breakfast menu was not extensive but the hot breakfasts were really enjoyable and well presented and served. We were really glad to have made this booking. Read less

The staff were all friendly and helpful: nothing was a problem. The bedroom was excellent. The public areas were well presented. The situation was not too busy - at the end of the tourist centre.

We stayed here for two nights as we were visiting portmerion and wanted a quiet base in a village with a few other pubs, the hotel ticked all the boxes, as described, in a lovely welsh village, parking at back and street parking, no charges here! The hotel was bustling when we arrived on a Saturday early evening, the restaurant was inviting, we had a wonderful Welsh lamb stew, a few real ales , very nice, our room, wow, large spotless very tastefully decorated, and a very quite nights sleep Read less

The Saracens Head Inn is located in the beautiful village of Beddgelert in the heart of Snowdonia.

The hotel stands beside the rushing River Colwyn beneath steep mountain slopes. The Saracens Head, with its comfortable rooms, excellent eating areas and welcoming staff is the perfect base from which to explore the countryside and coastline of North Wales. The fine scenery of the Snowdonia National Park is right on the doorstep - mountain-ringed lakes and rushing rivers, the famous beauty spot of the Aberglaslyn Pass, cool, green forests and, of course, Snowdon itself, the highest peak in England and Wales.

Open throughout the year, we aim to provide a warm, friendly and relaxing atmosphere, personal attention and high standards of comfort and cuisine.
