80 The Hundred

Romsey,

Hampshire,

SO51 8BX,  England
This historic building has enjoyed a variety of uses over the years being home to a women's workhouse in the early 17th century. Bertie's specialises in traditional British fayre but our chefs have blended culinary nostalgia with modern flair and created their own unique style. The menu and wine list have been created by people who know their craft and take a pride in practicing it well. The staff all had that important knack of being simultaneously friendly and unobtrusive.
Dislikes:
The room wasn't spectacular but that's not what we wanted or expected. We didn't want the trappings of an Hotel.

This is a restaurant with rooms, not a hotel, so it's not the place to come expecting luxury. But it's definitely the place for clean rooms, incredibly friendly and helpful staff and a great location, right in Romsey, where it can be hard to find somewhere to stay. Read less

Good locations, rooms a good size

Need to warn about how difficult it is to park.
Dislikes:
Breakfast- needs more continental choice-croissants and yoghurt. Toast overcooked on one side and raw the other and cold when hot option arrived. Second breakfast worst than first- small portions.
