Whilst being 5 star and Rosette awarded (deservedly so) the whole atmosphere including the dinning expereince was relaxing and warm and not at all 'stuffy'.

"Lovely romantic visit to Exmoor."

The hotel is situated in a beautiful spot. Brilliant for walking and enjoying the counrtyside. The hotel is very comfortable with great views. Our evenig meal was a little diappointing as we are vegetarians and there really wasn't much of a choice for us. I think if you eat meat then it really wouldn't be a problem. We will definitely go back and we had a great time. Read less

Our facilities are unsuitable for children under the age of ten as residents unless by prior arrangement.
