We stayed two nights and slept fairly well. The continental breakfast was nice. There is coffee/tea/hot chocolate available in the machine 24-hours. Also milk, juice and cookies. If you're coming from London by a train, I recommend getting off at the Cambride train station. It's much easier to get a cab and catch a bus. The bus C7 runs aprox every 20 mins. Read more

We only had one night (and my parents stayed in another room) and it was all fine with no issues or problems. Very friendly and helpful staff at all times. Nice size rooms which were clean and comfortable. Don't be put off by the big road it is on, the room was very quite at night. The only gripe was that whilst the bathroom was perfectly clean and usable, it could really do with redecorating and refitting as it was pretty tired and worn looking. Read more

Stayed for 14 days, quiet room to the garden, can perhaps be noise from traffic on front side, but I don't know. 4 miles from centre of Cambridge, bus stop near guesthouse, bus Citi7, bus stop Shelford Road, near Reed Close. Bus every 20 minutes at daytime. Food and off licence straight over the road, supermarket Waitrose 10 minutes walking away. I didn't have breakfast, even if it was included in the price, so I can't comment it. The staff were angels, always helpful and very kind. Read more

My husband and I checked in with our 10weeks old daughter. We were gated by a very friendly lady who showed us around. We had a nice family room. Unfortunately it did not have a bath which would have been ideal for our daughter but the staff did offer us a baby bath if we wanted, we forgot out travel cot but this was also provided for us :-)

We were greeted by a lady who was very happy to see us. We contacted them ahead of time to say that we would need to book in before 2pm as we were going to my sons graduation. We were not pestered, the room was spotlessly clean, and we had an excellent nights sleep without any road noise even though we were at the front. Read more

We stayed for two nights at the Ayah Villa Guest House, visiting Cambridge for a short weekend break. The guest house is on the busy Shelford Road, but set back enough for it to be quiet and relaxed. We are really sorry that you had a bad experience. We take great care to clean the rooms but often if the window is left open to let in some fresh air, the dust comes in too. There is a lot of building work going on in the surrounding area so we are constantly dusting but unfortunately we are unable to do this continuously. We have just bought a new vacuum cleaner so hopefully the carpets will be much better.

Poor - in our opinion it can only be described as somewhere to sleep that is (marginally) preferrable to sleeping in the car!
We stayed two nights in dirty rooms, sleeping on hard beds, and enduring revolting breakfasts. We can honestly rate this as one of the worst places that we have stayed and we certainly would never return there.

We were not aware that you were dissatisfied with the room. We would have been happy to change it for you. Next time communicate with people.
We stayed for 4 nights and enjoyed our stay very much.
