Wall Hill Farm Guest House Information

Description

The guest house was originally a barn for Wall Hill Farm, which is a Grade 2 listed building. The 250 year old traditional brick-built Cheshire barn, which forms part of the old farm yard, was converted in 2009 to form a 7-bedroom guesthouse offering luxury accommodation in a rural setting, with dining room and lounge facilities. Comfort, luxury and style, all rooms are decorated to a very high specification and furnished with a different theme for each room; from English Country to Contemporary to Safari - a tour de force of interior design. All rooms have very comfortable beds, quality linen, flat screen colour television, writing table (except English Country) and a hospitality tray with a selection of drinks and biscuits. The room temperature can be easily adjusted to suit your personal choice. All rooms are en-suite with power showers, shampoo, shower gel and hairdryers. The rooms have luxurious, fluffy bathrobes for your use. The accommodation is self contained; you can come and go as you wish without worrying about disturbing us or other guests. The electronic door key gives you access to the external doors and your bedroom door. The car park and building are flood lit until 11.30pm and the porch light remains on during the hours darkness. Enjoy our full English breakfast including our own organic free-range eggs, laid by our chickens, which can be seen in the field at the rear of the guesthouse. Set in the heart of Cheshire, Acton Bridge is a small village which has not been spoilt by over development. Walks through the village offer a variety of scenery, from the Weaver valley, to the industrial architecture of Acton swing bridge, Dutton Locks and the impressive sandstone viaduct carrying the railway line over the river.
