We were warmly welcomed. Our room was small but ok although not for the shy and retiring types because there were Windows on the door to the en suite. I must say I thought that paying the amount for a nights stay would include a cooked breakfast so was surprised to find just a basket with some fruit and biscuits with an extra charge for cooked breakfast. I don't know if the other guests were elephants but the banging, door slamming and running up and down stairs seemed very loud at midnight. Read more

We spent one night here (a couple in our 40s plus another couple in their 50s and a single friend of similar age) whilst attending an event in Falmouth and honestly couldn't say a bad thing about the place. After a long journey it was great to be just five minutes walk from the station (and indeed from the town and amazing beach), and we were made to feel welcome throughout. Read more

Very friendly welcome from Lynn who pointed out all the amenities. This was a cheap stay as I had single occupancy of the twin room. Usual amenities of coffee/tea making, flat screen freeview TV, washbasin etc. The toilet was across the corridor along with the bath/shower. The dining area catered for breakfasts of all kinds from toast, cereals, fruit juice to full english with tea or coffee. Packed lunches also provided on request for a small fee.Staff would do anything to assist. I'd come again Read more

Very friendly owners is just one reason to stay at this fine Guest house with all the character of a house originally dating from 1610. Add this to the comfort, facilities and food and you have Eden Lodge. It is in Falmouth of course! The only comments we would make is not enough bacon with the "full English" for Breakfast and the usual lack of an electric shaver point in the rooms (everywhere we stay is the same; are they all encouraging me to grow my beard longer?!!) When arriving at Eden Lodge, I was greeted with welcoming smiles and I was helped straight away with carrying my luggage to my room. As I had traveled from London I was pretty tied and was brought a homely tea and biscuits to my room shortly after my arrival. Both staff were very helpful and friendly during my visit. They suggested some good local music venues for me to check out and showed an interest in all their guests. I was very happy during my visit and I felt very sad when I had to leave. Read more

I had booked a twin room for myself and daughter as we were visiting Uni open day. We were given an attic room which was miserable. The decor and furniture were awful and the floor creeked and hot water tank didn't work. The bathroom was awful and not even private. I couldn't bring myself to get in shower. The hosts were both nice and accommodating and I didn't have the heart to complain. Read more

I came down to Falmouth with a group of friends, all of us Falmouth University graduates, to attend the annual beer festival and we were looking for very cheap accommodation for the weekend. All we really needed was a bed to spend the night in and a tasty brekkie in the morning. In that regard Eden Lodge was a great choice for us and provided just what we needed. However if I was coming for a longer holiday with family I may have found this B&B disappointing. Read more
