Description

The Countryman Inn is a traditional English pub and Guest House extending a warm welcome to locals and visitors alike. We offer a great selection of traditional ales, fine wines and spirits to complement the delicious home cooked food available in both the bars and the restaurant. Live music events are frequently held in the function room. Comfortable en-suite accommodation is perfect for those needing a business stopover or a holiday break. We also have a large garden area and an enclosed childrens play area. We have four comfortable centrally heated en-suite rooms all with TVs and tea and coffee making facilities. Wifi is available. All prices include a full English breakfast. Other Breakfast options are available. Just off the main A30 at the eastern end of Cornwall, Launceston is known as the "Gateway to Cornwall". On the Devon and Cornwall border and between Bodmin and Dartmoor, the town allows easy access to West Devon, the Tamar Valley and North and South Cornwall. Launceston is a traditional market town. It is quintessentially Cornish, with its Georgian houses, intricately carved church, narrow streets and market square.
