The first look is great, but ......

If you arrive you will find, that you never had a better Location. When you see your room, you will be dissapointed. It is not really clean, the Windows are not cleaned (only in the arriving aerea, where everybody can visit)The bathroom is very very small (like a cabin on a ship) and in poor condition with rusty parts and mold. The rooms have a very nice view, but thats it. Read more

Beautiful location for interesting stay in a very quirky hotel.

We looked very much forward to our visit to the Camelot and we weren't disappointed in the location and the old glam style of the hotel. The staff was great, the owners welcoming and the food was good when available. However, the room was a bit disappointing and not adequate for two people. The bathroom was terrible but the other two in our party had a brilliant bath in their room. The televisons were small and there wasn't enough room to walk around in the room without bumping into the other. Read more

Excellent stay

As soon as we arrived we were upgraded free of charge to what was probably the best room in the hotel. We were delighted with the room and the rest of the hotel was also very comfortable to use and be in. Good decor in keeping with a castle theme. Dinning hall and tea room both nice places to be. Hot chocolate bought in the tea room and served in the lounge next to a giant Christmas tree with log fires burning is something we shall never forget. Read more

Fantastic location in Cornwall

The room was a good size, however the en-suite was a bit of a joke, a Pod! It felt like going to the loo etc on a channel ferry crossing, come on guys get it sorted.

Surprising, inspiring and breathtaking, Camelot Castle is awesome.

I stayed in a twin room overlooking the coast path. Beautiful room, stunning artwork all over the hotel, staff were so friendly and helpful. Great winter getaway at Camelot Castle

Camelot Castle gets two thumbs up! Eventhough February is a non-tourist season time of the year (during which you might expect a lower level of service), Camelot Castle is well staffed providing a warm and friendly atmosphere. Magnificent Setting, Excellent staff - but pricey food.

I stayed at the hotel for two nights, with the intention of proposing to my partner over the course of the stay. She was impressed with the hotel and enjoyed the stay so much that she agreed to marry me while behind the stage of the Minack Theatre.

Charmingly eccentric, beautiful setting but some problems with rooms.

We stayed at Camelot Castle for a bank holiday weekend, and enjoyed the setting enormously. We did find, however, that the room that we had booked was not quite what was shown on the website. However, the owner did do everything in his power to make amends, which made a great deal of difference to our ultimate appreciation of the experience. Read more

A beautiful and tasteful hotel on a superb location with friendly staff

We enjoyed our stay in the Camelot Castle Hotel where both my parents and myself had rooms with sea view even though the single room was booked with moor view. SOMETHING DIFFERENT

The hotel restaurant is in a fantastic location with far-reaching sea views, all the staff were exquisitely polite,I think 100% foreign workers. The bedroom was rather disappointing, not too keen on the European Shower room and the bed was more 3rd Class than 1st, also as this is a "Castle" I didn't care for the 1950s furniture
the bedroom staff were very efficient & friendly.
