We stayed overnight as we were visiting nearby RHS Rosemoor. We received a warm welcome from the host and were shown to our spacious room. We enjoyed a good night's sleep in a 6ft bed, and everything we needed was in the room - TV, hairdryer, toiletries - and felt very relaxed. All very nicely decorated and spotlessly clean. Could not wish for more in a farmhouse B and B. Read more

The bed was very comfortable had an excellent nights rest, bathroom facilities very nice, Very quiet and peaceful place to stay. The breakfast was also excellant just right to set you up for the day ahead. We took a walk into the town for our evening meal, took about 40mins was a very pleasant walk in as downhill would recommend a taxi for the return trip. Read more

Higher Darracroft Farm is located away from street lights and the sound of traffic. It was delightful to let the silver moonlight flood my room at night. The room was spacious, well appointed and spotlessly clean. The very large double bed was very comfortable and I slept better than I have for a while. The free range hens produce wonderful eggs and breakfast was delicious, hot and only just cooked for me. The hosts Mr & Mrs White are a lovely couple, friendly and thoughtful. Read more

Thank you for the review Robin. Pine room is not normally used as a letting room and is not advertised as such due to it's private bathroom being along the landing. Ann had explained that to you via an e mail
allowing you to make an alternative booking should you wish to have done so . However we do have a few regular guests that actually request that room as it extremely comfortable overlooking.. the front garden and is away from the other rooms offering aditional peace and quiet.
