Lynton House Information

Description

This strikingly elegant building has an interesting history, being part of Powderham Terrace, an impressive example of Victorian architecture which was erected in the 1860’s by the Courtenay family, Earls of Devon. Lynton House has twelve en-suite rooms which all have flat-screen, remote control, digital televisions and beverage trays. The Lounge Bar is comfortably furnished and is an ideal place to sit and relax and enjoy meeting friends, old and new. Alternatively you can just watch the world go by through the large picture windows that frame the fantastic view as seen from the pretty patio. The spacious Dining Room, situated on the ground floor and having separate tables, offers a peaceful atmospher in which to enjoy our hearty breakfast. As with all holidays, the main intention is to have a break from the traditional day to day routine that is maintained for the majority of time for most people. Lynton House is well placed for guests to visit many different attractions in the area. Being positioned in the South West with a climate temperate enough for palm trees to grow, there are plenty of local attractions to keep most people entertained.
