The Mousetrap Inn Information
Description
As a Freehouse with a well stocked cellar including regularly changing local ales, we are showcasing the best of the region’s craft ales and beers. Our barmen are passionate about their spirit and wine selection and our chefs proud of the menu that uses as many local suppliers as possible. Rumours abound as to how the name came about (Agatha Christie is supposed to have been a guest back in the day) but what is for sure is that it has been lovingly brought up to date with a quirky interior. It is now a bustling place for locals and visitors alike. Our Inn has 11 rooms, 3 on ground level and 8 on the first floor. We are continuously refurbishing all of our 11 rooms including new mattresses, bedding, soft furnishings and original artworks (February 2020). We are open all day every day. Our menus vary from season to season and we can offer freshly cooked light lunches, snacks and dinner. It goes without saying that we also do a mean Sunday Roast! If you wish to dine with us, we highly recommend booking a table, especially for evenings and weekends: bookings@themousetrapinn.co.uk or +44 1451 820579 We all look forward seeing you soon here at The Mousetrap Inn in Bourton-on-the-Water.
We are all locals and happy to recommend our favourite places to guests. Whether it's an off the beaten track hidden manor house, or a child friendly day out, we have the local knowledge you need to make the most of your stay in the heart of the Cotswolds.
