Our two luxury double rooms are very similar, one with slightly higher ceilings, and larger windows. The Clarence double room with luxurious 5’ bed is at mid level. It is the cosiest of the rooms being the same size as our luxury twin but with slightly lower ceilings, giving a very different feel. The Imperial room has deep and supremely comfortable 2000 pocket-sprung 5’ mattresses are the same, as it the crisp, smooth bed-linen. This room is just half a flight up from the entrance level and gallery.
This twin room is situated at the top of the house on the upper second floor with distant views across the roof-tops and trees to The Cotswold escarpment beyond. As with all our beds, we have deep mattresses with sateen cotton bed-linen, sumptuous duvets and an ensuite with a large-walk in shower. There is a small dressing area and all the usual ‘in-room’ hospitality you would expect. The original fireplace exists, but alas does not function.

A one-night boutique hotel from which we intended to attend several events in the Music Festival, all of which were walkable. We wanted somewhere attractive, simple and reasonably-priced. Our room, though small, was neat, clean and light, well-furnished and with all necessary facilities, an excellent shower and comfortable bed. Five minutes to the middle of town provided a range of shops and galleries. A delicious and varied communal breakfast was served by the friendly owner himself, Read more
I was watching a concert in the Town Hall (literally on the door step) and decided to pay for a bit of luxury. I was not disappointed. Read more
Our stay coincided with the Cheltenham Science Festival taking place just across the road from one4bandb. However, this did not detract from the weekend - indeed it was an added interest we had not expected. The B&B is situated in a busy square but we certainly did not hear traffic noise once back in our bedroom. Read more

Welcome to our recently opened, boutique b and b situated on the corner of one of the signature garden squares in central Cheltenham, Imperial Square. Cheltenham is renowned for it’s Regency Architecture, with light painted, classical styled buildings in crescents, squares and tree lined boulevards. It is also becoming justifiably well known for it’s many festivals ranging from the famous Cheltenham Gold Cup horse race, through to literature, jazz, music, dance, food and drink, design and science with many famous international names coming to entertain and inform us. Cheltenham is known as ‘The Gateway to The Cotswolds’ – an area of extreme natural beauty, history, quaint Cotswold stone villages, rolling landscapes and country homes - members of The Royal Family have their country houses here. It is an area deserving exploration with too many delightful attractions to list here. Cheltenham is a very ‘green’ town. We are blessed with many parks, gardens and tree lined avenues. We have iconic buildings such as the Pittville Pump Room, the turn of the century Town Hall, The Boys, and perhaps more famously, the Ladies College and many beautiful detached villas and Regency terraces. Many formal buildings are host to musical and theatrical events that go on throughout the year. We can also boast a new contemporary art gallery, three theatres, museums, sale rooms, multi screen cinemas, sporting venues, restaurants with Michelin stars, a Jamie Oliver and many small private dining rooms, bars, clubs and of course our many and varied pubs. one4 is a Regency town house with only three ensuite bed and breakfast rooms: two 5’ doubles and at the top of the house, a twin. We use impeccable sateen bed linen on the 2000 pocket sprung beds, provide towels and toiletries, tea, coffee, biscuits, wifi, and tv with dvd player. The rooms have secondary glazing, individually controlled radiators, and ensuite shower rooms with both rain and hand held showers.
