The Broadstairs & Rochester Suites are both found tucked away in the eaves of the sixteenth-century barn and are packed with beams and period features. They are entered through a small doors, shortened to fit beneath one of the main structural wooden beams. The rooms are beautifully spacious and flooded with natural light. Both have a bath with shower attachment
Converted from 18th Century stables, these Suites are open and spacious. Most have vaulted ceilings in the bedroom. All except Tenterden have a living area. Two have slipper baths while the others have showers – check the website for full details.
The Sevenoaks Suite was originally the tack room in the Stable Block, and if you look closely you will find things that recall its former use. It has been tastefully updated to offer a living room and a contemporary shower room.
The Westerham Suite & Whitstable Suite meld serenely with the outside world. With their vaulted ceilings these open and spacious suites have beautiful free-standing slipper baths for you to relax in at the end of the day.
The Faversham Suite is a warm, atmospheric room, with rich wood-panelling and high ceilings. It has a rain shower and a beautiful four-poster bed.
The Tenterden Suite, at the end of the Stable Block, offers that extra bit of peace and seclusion. Double aspect windows flood the room with natural light. This is also our disabled-friendly room, with its walk-in wet room and easy wheelchair access.
The Oast House, where hops once would have been dried as part of the brewing process, is set aside from the rest of the farm. Both rooms have access to a shared living room in the roundel of the Oast. Both rooms have plenty of natural daylight offering views over the hills to the village. Appledore has a shower and Hawkhurst has a bath with shower attachment.
The Penshurst Suite is a beautiful and luxurious room found downstairs in the recently converted Granary. With its spacious double ended egg bath and the super-king bed that has been specially made to fit between beams and set against original rag stone, this is the perfect suite for a romantic getaway. Read the morning newspaper with a mug of coffee in the living area, which looks out through huge glass doors at the sun rising over the hills.
The Canterbury Suite, found upstairs in the Granary, is a very special room that offers elegant romantic luxury. We have one room in the stable block, Tenterden, that has been designed to be suitable for a wheelchair user. In the ensuite there is a walk-in wet room, the sink has been set lower and the toilet raised in-line with the measurements specified by the DDA. The remainder of the rooms in the stable block are also ground-floor and therefore potentially suitable as accessible rooms. Penshurst on the ground-floor of the Granary building also has the potential to be suitable. We have a portable ramp onsite. If you are considering staying with us then you should contact us on 01233 840442 or email email@example.com for more advice on which rooms might be suitable to meet your needs.
