The Horseshoe and Castle Information

Description

Enviably located in the heart of the Hoo Peninsular this traditional country Inn with 3 four star rated rooms and one self catering detached cottage has an above quality menu. The rural setting is conveniently located between two nature reserves and local wedding venues such as Cooling Castle Barn, The Knowle in Higham and The Little Hermitage in Gravesend Road, Higham. An open fire place invites you into the restaurant and a log burner is located in the bar offering a full A' la Carte menu using all home cooked local ingredients and Seafood Specialities. The Horseshoe and Castle has, over the years, received excellent reviews from Kent Life magazine as a fond favourite and exemplary articles from travel writers Tom Cheshyre, Carol Donaldson and Janet Street Porter taking a well-earned respite after one of many walks to be enjoyed including part of the Saxon Shore Way and R.S.P.B Nature Reserve. The Horseshoe and Castle is a dog friendly Free House where dogs are welcome throughout the premise excluding the restaurant area.
