It's not the ritz :(

Was ok for 1 night Read more

Mr Bayley,
Firstly we are sorry you did not enjoy your stay. To break down your stay in terms of 'value', you paid £65 for large double and £70 for deluxe double. After £20 commission was taken off we then offer you a quality stay, including; Laundry, heating, electricity and high quality food. In terms of the food we take it as compliment that you wanted more, and your location score of 1 seems unfair as we are 850m from the Tower.
You should not expect the Ritz for the money you paid.

Shower was good
Breakfast was not very big for a full English

Blackpool Illuminations short stay

A very warm welcome on arrival, easy check in and assistance with carrying bags to the top floor Deluxe Double bedroom was afforded to both of us. Even though the furniture was slightly dated the room had everything we required. A fantastic large en-suite bathroom complimented our quiet stay. Breakfast was at 0915 and the service was good along with a hearty English breakfast. Overall a good comfortable stay in a typical Blackpool Guest House that brought back many good childhood memories. Read more

The welcome, the deluxe en-suite double room, the location, even lucky enough to park outside the guest house. Would definately stay again.

stay well clear

After what seemed like forever for someone to answer the door we were greeted by an unsmiling owner and an awful smell of must probably due to the fact that there's no heating on !
No hairdryer, shampoo ,conditioner or shower gel in rooms although it does say on website that there are (room essentials) don't know what they were ???? Maybe the 2 tea bags and 2 coffee sachets haha .
If you stay in room 5 don't use the shower because your likely to get blamed for it leaking !!!!! Read more

You paid a basic price and i'm afraid we do not offer such 'essentials' in what is our basic priced rooms, however you was provided with a hair dryer, which you fail to mention. Also there was a leak coming from your shower as you had left it on, once you went back up stairs and turned it off the leak had stopped and on inspection of your room their was water all over the bathroom floor.

The breakfast
Everything but the breakfast

fair value for money for accomodation which was pleasant enough

When we arrived there was no hassle or stress, we were given the keys and towels straightaway. The breakfast was prompt and again child friendly. We will definitely go the same place again. Read more

The landlady was very friendly and pleasant. The atmosphere was very child friendly which was nice. The towels and tea were a pleasant addition.
The fact that couple in the next room were very noisy and had loud music on till gone early hours in the morning. Quite annoying especially when children trying to sleep.
