Thanks for your comments. Water pressure is a problem locally not just here. We installed a pump to help alleviate the proble, which has helped but it is not always perfect.

Sunday night stay for 2, made very welcome throughout with good breakfast. Forewarned that kitchen was closed on Sunday evening and other eating places recommended. Room clean but small and "at the end of the line" for electricity (lights flickered annoyingly presumably on any load from pub. Hot water in basin and shower from separate instant heaters poor and erratic. Read more

Overnight stay as part of a birthday treat. Ideal location for the destination we were going the day after. Arrived to be met by friendly staff who couldn't help us anymore. A table was reserved for us and kitchen kept open due to us getting stuck in traffic. Great food at great prices and then included in the local quiz night. Overall a really friendly and enjoyable overnight stay. Read more

Friendly owners and staff made you feel very welcome. Stayed at the pub as it was only 14 miles from the Royal International Air Tattoo at RAF Fairford. Went there on Saturday and on Sunday it was only a short drive to Oxford. Read more

Amost enjoyable weekend untill the Saturday night when following an excellent meal the Horse and Jockey caught fire and the whole of the roof and first floor was destoyed.Our host was very good and ushered everyone to safety.Alternate accommodation was found nearby for the rest of our stay.A very interesting weekend. A one night stopover in a convenient location that turned out to be a very pleasant one. The room was small but clean and attractive with all expected facilities. The en-suite shower room was clean and adequately equipped but the shower temperature was somewhat difficult to control. The pub and dining room had a pleasant fell but unfortunately despite booking dinner for 7:30 it took 3/4 of an hour to even order and until 8:45 to get it. The food was good however.
