Description

Comprising of 6 en-suite rooms and a ground floor eatery The Blenheim Buttery offers clean and comfortable accommodation in rooms recently refurbished to reflect the traditional charm and warmth of this 17th century building. Rooms are made up of 2 Premium Twin bedded rooms (one of which also has a futon in the room and can be booked as a triple) ,1 Classic Double bedded room, 1 Classic King bedded room and 2 Premium King Bedded rooms. The rooms are tastefully decorated in light restful colours complimenting the Cotswold Stone and timber beams. All rooms are non smoking with direct dial telephones, digital televisions, WiFi internet access, tea & coffee making facilities and hair dryers. Rooms are provided with towels and complimentary toiletries. Some rooms can accommodate a 'put up bed' for an extra person. Irons and ironing boards are available for guests to use. The Blenheim Buttery Licensed Eatery serves breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and hot meals and drinks the ideal place for light refreshment or working lunch. Whether you are taking advantage of sunny days in our courtyard garden, watching the world go by in our window seats or sat within the Cotswold Stone walls and timber beams of our main dining area we welcome you to enjoy freshly prepared seasonal food from a regularly changing menu in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.

Accessibility

All rooms are on the first and second floors of our guest house and as a 17th Century listed building our disabled facilities are limited. Please ensure booking staff are fully aware of any relevant circumstances before confirming your booking. All rooms are accessed through the garden courtyard up an external staircase, with handrail, which customers with mobility difficulties will find unsuitable.

    By Car By road from London: Leave the M40 at junction 8 and join the A40 towards Oxford. Continue along the A40 for a further 12 miles. On reaching the Wolvercote roundabout take the fourth exit signposted A44 (Evesham & Blenheim Palace). At the next roundabout (Peartree) take the second exit, still follow the A44 towards Evesham and Blenheim Palace. Continue along the A44 for a further 5 miles. On entering Woodstock pass the main entrance to Blenheim Palace on the left hand side.
  • Road from Birmingham (65.0 miles)
    Leave the M40 at junction 9 and join the A34 towards Oxford. Leave the A34 at the fourth junction signposted Oxford. At this roundabout (Peartree), take fourth exit onto the A44 signposted Evesham and Blenheim Palace. Continue along the A44 for a further 5 miles. Continue to the centre of Woodstock and take the left hand turn onto High Street, approximately 50 metres before the pedestrian Crossing. Continue ahead onto Market Place and The Blenheim Buttery is on the left.
  • Bus from Oxford (7.0 miles)
    A frequent service is operated by Stagecoach, bus number S3. The bus stops are close by the Hensington Gate entrance to Blenheim Palace or in the centre of Woodstock itself. Stagecoach 0870 608 2608. Regular buses run to and from Oxford to Heathrow, Gatwick, Luton and Stanstead airports.
