Kings Arms Inn Information

Description

The Kings Arms lies in the peaceful and quaint village of Wing. The Inn is ideally situated as a base for visiting the surrounding market towns of Oakham, Uppingham and Stamford. Rutland water, with its extensive array of outdoor activities,is only two miles away and offers a variety of outdoor pursuits including walking, cycling, sailing, windsurfing, bird watching, fishing and golf. Other local attractions include Burghley House, Barnsdale Gardens and the historic Wing Maze. The Inn dates back to 1649 and offers all the charm and character of a Traditional Country Inn. Our en-suite rooms are clean, spacious and fully equipped. Since 2004, the Goss family have been offering quality ales, an extensive wine list, fine food and a high standard of service at all times. Rutland is a hidden gem of a county and is often referred to as "The Little Cotswolds" with its quaint villages, similar brickwork and Collyweston Stone Slate. We offer a large off-road free car park suitable for the parking of small boat trailers, horseboxes and motorised caravans. Our restaurant may be booked for corporate lunches, dinner parties and small wedding receptions. Further information can also be found in the following pub guides: AA Pub Guide 2022, AA Britain's Best Country Pubs for Food Lovers and The Good Pub Guide 2022. We have also been awarded 4 Stars, 2 AA Rosettes and the AA Breakfast Award for 2022. Please note: The Bar & Restaurant are closed from Sunday Lunch and all day Monday including Bank Holiday Monday's. Our B&B Service is available all year 24/7 except when Xmas Day and Boxing Day when a Room Only service is in force. PLEASE NOTE.
