shame about the reception

Everyting was fine really - charming bedroom, gorgeous Breakfast Room, v nice breakfast, friendly staff. As a lone female traveller, what let it down a little was that I had to register for my room at the bar, which was full of loud, drunken blokes on a Sunday afternoon. I'm not a shrinking violet but it was rather intimidating and uncomfortable. I'd advise the managers to create a separate hotel reception area if they can. No shampoo in bathroom was a bit inconvenient too. Read more

an entertaining and lively hotel spotlessly clean room very enjoyable

We arrived early but wanted to know where to psark the car. The young lady said we could have the key and took us up to the room. The room was clean and spacious with TV on suite plenty of tea sugar and coffee our room overlooked the courtyard so we could keep an eye on our car but the locals were friendly and made us feel welcome. good room shame about the pub

Luckily we already know Ludlow well and the Bulls reputation, so it wasn't too much of a surprise. The room was nicely re decorated and clean although the cream portions for our coffee and tea making were out of date, the en suite was dated and in need of updating but was clean enough none the less! Unfortunately being over a very busy and notorious pub there are no guest facilities apparent, just your room and the breakfast room for the morning. There was no tourist Iinfo or breakfast menu. Weekend in Ludlow

Stayed at the Bull Hotel with my grown up daughters. We chose the hotel as it was so central and also for the price. We knew that the hotel had a bar and were expecting some noise in the evening. Nice room but some areas let this hotel down.

Not as expected. This is more a pub with loud drinkers + rooms than a hotel. Whilst the room was as pictured and was clean and comfortable the bathroom was dated and the shower was not brilliant. The outside seating area is in the car park and it is was a concern leaving our car in this location given the jovality of the drinkers that night which can be heard from our room which overlooked them. Very noisy in the evenings and night time due to bedrooms facing open courtyard which was used as seating for the Hotel/PH. It is more of a Publc House rather than a Hotel. In the heart of Ludlow, and incredibly noisy.

My partner and I booked a two night stay here for a weekend away at the beginning of December. We were happy with the central location of The Bull, and the bedroom was clean and comfortable. However that's where the positives stop.

We arrived late Friday night in the middle of a 1970s tribute band 1 Year Anniversary. I have no problem with a bar being loud on a Friday night, but it was no quieter in our bedroom. Saturday night was a similar story noise-wise, but mercifully without the 197 Read more

I am sorry that you were disappointed with your stay during the Festival. It is very difficult when you have a bed and breakfast to please everyone and we took the decision to provide a toaster so guests could make their own when they wanted it so it would stay warm. Description

We offer a large bar area, comfortable lounge area as well as a recently refurbished accommodation and restaurant. It is a stones throw from historic landmarks such as Ludlow Castle as well as the Market in the town square. We offer freshly produced food in both our bar area and private restaurant as well as a selection of fine wines and real ales. Our accommodation is of a very high standard and is available throughout the year. With our private restaurant and dinning area the Bull Hotel is the perfect venue for all your parties and events. We serve hot and cold quality food throughout the day and evening, both in the bar area and our restaurant. All of our food is cooked fresh from order and we use locally produced produce. Our upstairs restaurant is also the perfect venue for private functions and parties. There are events and fayres all throughout the year in historic Ludlow. The Bull Hotel offers you the perfect place for you to stay while you are visiting. Our recently refurbished rooms are all en-suite and come with a colour television as well as tea and coffee making facilities. Onsite parking is also available. The Bull Hotel hosts many events throughout the year. It is also the perfect venue for your own event/party or function. Please note that The Bull Hotel has live music on Saturday nights until 11.30pm and therefore some noise will be experienced in the rooms. The family room may not be suitable for young children when live music is playing.
