We stayed here for three nights. It was about a ten minute walk to the city, which we did several times. The house was very quiet at night and we were able to get some good sleep while here. The breakfasts were also good.

For hitting Astor House site unseen, I have to say it was THE bargain of our UK trip. the price was reasonable, the home much more beautiful than expected. The rooms are spacious, clean and well decorated. The breakfast was lovely and the staff seem nice. The only problem was the bathroom. Unfortunatley a massive problem.
