Turks Hall Information

Description

David and Caroline are delighted to welcome you to Turks Hall, Lusty, Bruton, a "Victorian family house" with a lovely south facing courtyard. Your double bedroom with en-suite bathroom, television, wifi etc is a comfortable, spacious room where you can either read David's large selection of books, listen to music or just chill. A glass of sherry will be awaiting you! Alternatively, enjoy our twin bedded room with shared bathroom. All photographs on our website. We offer an organic continental breakfast. A wide selection of organic Jing teas are available for you to try at breakfast. Bruton is a small mediaeval Somerset town just off the A303. St. Mary's church, Sexey's Hospital with its old almshouses and delightful gardens, ancient bartons, riverside walks and the 15th Dovecot will enhance a lovely stay in this intriguing town. If you are a foodie, why not try out ‘At the Chapel’, 'Osip', 'The Old Pharmacy' or ‘Matt's Kitchen’. The Sun pub has the most delicious Persian cusine. Let us do the booking for you! We are only five minutes walk from Gants Mill, Mill On The Brue and all the local restaurants in Bruton! Plus Kings Bruton School, Sexeys School and Bruton School for Girls. ITINERARY FOR A FEW DAYS AT TURKS HALL Thursday night you could either go to barbecue roast at Hauser and Wirth or Matts Kitchen:mattskitchen.co.uk; my favourite place in town just a few minutes walk from the house: you take your own wine and pay in cash; totally divine and a great way to start your few days away: Newt in Somerset (costs £20.00 each to get into the Estate: we can book you in as our guests for this amount instead of £70.00 per person!) and then you could go on a guided tour (10.30 start) and a delicious lunch in their restaurant. Website: thenewtinsomerset.com. The gardens are truly out of this world... we will fill you in for the rest of the itinerary!!

Why not come and enjoy a few days holiday in the beautiful Somerset countryside? David and Caroline are delighted to welcome you to Turks Hall Bed & Breakfast in Bruton, Somerset.
