Halfway along the north coast of Wales a piece of land juts out into the sea. It’s called the Creuddyn peninsula and at its north end you will find Llandudno, a fine seaside town with a stately promenade, pier, art gallery and garden. If you are looking for accommodation, there are plenty of Llandudno hotels and B&Bs to choose from. Just outside the town lies Great Orme, a beautiful limestone headland whose summit can be reached by the historic Great Orme Tramway or more modern cable car. From the top there are grand views of the Welsh coastline and the sweeping curve of Llandudno’s sheltered sandy beach.
