This is a double room on the first floor with a double bed. In addition, there is a child's bed in the room for an under 5. There is also a child gate that can be attached if necessary, at the top of the stairs. There are tea and coffee making facilities in the room. The shower and toilet are next door.
The family living space is on the first floor and consists of two connecting rooms: one is a twin room with two single beds and the other, is a room with tea/coffee making facilities, books and games; and a very comfortable double futon which you can leave open, or use as a sofa. There is a shared bathroom.
If you are a family or small group (maximum 4 people), then this allows openness between the two rooms, and/or privacy.
Repos sous Les Arbres means just that: we offer B&B nestling in the greenery and trees of Bretagne, for you to relax in. There are two rooms for Bed and Breakfast. They are both on the first floor: a double room with a child's bed and a twin room. There is a newly re-furbished guest shower and toilet, as well as tea and coffee making facilities in the rooms.
There is also another guest room on the 1st floor which can be used as an additional sleeping space, reading/relaxing area with fridge, and tea/coffee making facilities. This layout is suitable for individuals, couples and families; or small groups. While we are not vegetarian, we offer vegetarian options.
In our rural setting we are very well connected to the surrounding network of communes in an unspoilt part of France. Kerdourc’h is a few miles from the small towns of Kergrist-Moëlou, Glomel and Mael-Carhaix. Many villages and towns start with the word 'Ker' which in Breton Language means village or hamlet. Kerdourc’h is in the Côtes-D’Armor ~ 'Coast of the sea country'. All the towns, including the more established like Rostrenen, Pontivy, Guingamp and Callac maintain their rustic charm and offer outdoor markets, quiet roads and parking.
Our local environment is very popular with cyclists and walkers, fishermen and those who enjoy water e.g. canals, lakes and the coast. There are opportunities to take breaks on the Nantes-Brest canal and there are local lakes which offer a host of activities for the family. Both the south and north coasts are easily accessible for a day trip or longer journey: for example the stunning Pink Granite Coast is under an hour away.
If you travel by ferry, we are situated within easy reach of Roscoff and St Malo. And accessible from the main airports of Dinard, Rennes and Brest.
Please see the map for how to find us. We are near the crossroads of the D87 and D49, just off the main N164.
