The best room in the house, with superb views over the Weaver Valley and towards Macclesfield. Jodrell Bank radio telescope can be seen clearly on the central Cheshire Plain on a clear day, with the Pennine mountains in the background. This first floor room offers a king-size bed and an en-suite bathroom, having a separate bath, large shower cubicle, toilet, bidet and wash hand basin. An extra bed is available for use in this room if required. For larger families, why not book this room and Classic bedroom together and have your own suite with private access. Pattern and Colour are the key factors in contributing to a particular image. Floral patterns have a timelessness that enables them to be used in almost any setting, but for a Country style a looser casual pattern with country cottage flowers as a preference rather than lilies or roses. Chunky wooden furniture finished in antique ivory paint effect demonstrates chic sophistication.

Feng Shui Concept Design The philosophy behind Feng Shui is that it shows us how to order our lives, live in harmony with ourselves, each other and the natural world. It is extremely difficult in this case to recreate a design that applies all the rules of Feng Shui. As an existing building functioning as a guest house which will be housing numerous guests and with the underlining technical factors that cannot be altered there are many aspects which contradict with the Feng Shui concept and characteristics that rely on personal information. Therefore the aim is to incorporate some of the main Feng Shui elements and ideas that can be applied in order to create a soft dreamy visual effect in conjunction with aspects that create well being and relaxation in order to create a restful place to stay. The Five Feng Shui elements have been incorporated in order to work towards this such as: Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal and Water A balance of these five elements to create harmony is essential.

In Interior design this usually means ‘of today’ using the latest current furnishings, colours and textures. This is a difficult style to maintain as trends change quite frequently. Colour, surface texture, furniture and soft furnishing accessories have been co-ordinated in an interesting way to create a ‘Contemporary’ image. This is a Double room with en-suite bathroom

A bedroom on the ground floor with a king sized double bed and en-suite facilities with a separate shower cubicle, wash hand basin and toilet. Please note the bed in this room is only 6'0'' (1.83m) long; all other rooms have beds which are longer. Oriental Style Various items of furniture, accessories, colours and luxury fabrics have been included to create a unique style with an oriental influence. This tends to be European imitations of oriental decoration, furniture and decorative objects, Chinese lacquer work, silks, porcelains as well as items and decoration from India and Japan.

An extra bed is available for use in this room if required. For larger families why not book this room and English Country bedroom together and have your own suite with private access. Classic Style It is difficult to create an exact replica of a typical classical interior due to many technical factors, so the aim here was to incorporate period details into the design using influences from the past in the form of luxurious fabrics, elaborate detail with soft furnishings, silk effect fabric bolsters and decorative mouldings on furniture to create a unique and interesting style.

En-suite facilities with a separate shower cubicle, wash hand basin and toilet. An extra bed is available for use in this room if required. African Concept Design It is extremely difficult to create an exact replication of a typical African interior due to the large variation of social and cultural art and design expressions from craft and local tradesmen between North Africa and the rest of the continent. Therefore a unique design has been created incorporating general references to tribal culture, natural materials and earth colours to create an individual and unique design with an ‘African touch’ sympathetic to the character of the building.

Wall Hill Farm Guest House Information
Description
The guest house was originally a barn for Wall Hill Farm, which is a Grade 2 listed building. The 250 year old traditional brick-built Cheshire barn, which forms part of the old farm yard, was converted in 2009 to form a 7-bedroom guesthouse offering luxury accommodation in a rural setting, with dining room and lounge facilities. Comfort, luxury and style, all rooms are decorated to a very high specification and furnished with a different theme for each room; from English Country to Contemporary to Safari - a tour de force of interior design. All rooms have very comfortable beds, quality linen, flat screen colour television, writing table (except English Country) and a hospitality tray with a selection of drinks and biscuits. The room temperature can be easily adjusted to suit your personal choice. All rooms are en-suite with power showers, shampoo, shower gel and hairdryers. The rooms have luxurious, fluffy bathrobes for your use. The accommodation is self contained; you can come and go as you wish without worrying about disturbing us or other guests. The electronic door key gives you access to the external doors and your bedroom door. The car park and building are flood lit until 11.30pm and the porch light remains on during the hours darkness. Enjoy our full English breakfast including our own organic free-range eggs, laid by our chickens, which can be seen in the field at the rear of the guesthouse. Set in the heart of Cheshire, Acton Bridge is a small village which has not been spoilt by over development. Walks through the village offer a variety of scenery, from the Weaver valley, to the industrial architecture of Acton swing bridge, Dutton Locks and the impressive sandstone viaduct carrying the railway line over the river.
