Harley House Information

Description

This ground floor home is set in the heart of the beautiful lakeland village, moments away from the market square. The elegantly furnished apartment is arranged over two floors. It is perfect for a couple or small family looking for a base for a quiet break in a location that is perfectly situated to explore the South Lakeland area. The apartment boasts a stylish open plan kitchen, dining and living space. Making this an intimate place to spend time with each other. The wood burning stove in the sitting area provides a warming heat and atmosphere that really completes the traditional Lake District experience. The cozy bedrooms are on the Lower-Ground floor. There is something comforting about sleeping below the living space that appeals to both adults and children alike and makes for a restful nights sleep. We have a double and a twin bedroom however the twin is zip-lock so can be arranged as two doubles if desired. The modern bath and shower room finish off the property, for rounding off the day with all of the comforts of home. There is a TV and WiFi that allow guests to stay connected, whilst relaxing from exploring the local hills, villages and the rugged cumbrian coastline.

The traditional stone built property is ideal for exploring some of the most stunning scenery that the Lake District has to offer. The village itself is beautiful and has traditional pubs, shops and market square. This village is a Gem as it does not suffer overcrowding yet the road links to surrounding villages and towns are perfect for easy access into the Heart of the Lakes. The central location of Broughton-in-Furness means that there is something to explore in every direction, from the Mountains of the South Lakes to the coastline of Western Cumbria. Historic towns such as Ulverston and Coniston are a stones throw away. South Lakes Wild Animal Park is also easily accessible for a family day out at the impressive Zoo, before heading back to Harley House to put your feet up in front of the Log Burning Stove.
