The Dusty Miller is beautifully situated in the picturesque village of Barlborough overlooking the Derbyshire countryside just 2 minutes off jct. 30 M1 and is within easy reach of many major attractions such as - Rover Valley, Bolsover Castle, Crooked Spire Chesterfield, Chatsworth House, Creswell Crags, Hardwick Hall, Columba Park, Nottingham Forest & the Peak District. For the shoppers you have the market town of Chesterfield & City of Sheffield close by & Meadow hall shopping centre. This country inn has just had a major refurbishment with new stone and wooden floors, pictures, lighting, blinds and a new lighter fresher colour scheme but still made to feel very homely, friendly and inviting. There are 4 chefs with a vast amount of experience and culinary skills who cook and make all there own food on site so you can be sure of freshness and quality all rolled into one. There famous carvery speaks volumes to the amount of people who visit the Dusty Miller on a regular basis for the freshly prepared Sunday carvery,daily bar meals, snacks, Fresh kiddies menu, vegetarian choices, set menus and buffet menus there is something for all the family. Mid week light bite menu only £5.95 Full Breakfast menu £10.00 pp Also best for top entertainment in the area with there famous tribute nights,top bands, artists and comedians. Every Monday is poker night Red tooth league 8pm and Thursday hosts a regular rock n roll night with our resident band Past Masters playing tunes of the 50s and 60s, it's free admission & the band starts at 9pm. Saturday is our famous live music night with some of the best bands, tributes from around the country. Live music starts from 9.30pm till late plus our bar is open till midnight. Accessibility

We have access to our rooms via a small flight of stairs which has a hand rail to assist people in climbing. Access to the actual premises to the bar and dining areas has ramps from the outside so is wheel chair friendly and we have a disabled toilet.

Directions

  • Road from M1 Motorway (0.7 miles)
    coming off the M1 JCN 30 heading north bound it is first left of the slip road and then a few hundred yards down the dual carriageway turn right across the carriageway heading into Barlborough village.We are just on the left.If you are coming off the M1 while heading south bound it is right off the slip road taking the 3rd exit then after a few hundred yards cut across the dual carriageway by turning right and we are just up on Sheffield road on the left.
