Harbour Living Information

Harbour Living is a period apartment newly refurbished in a contemporary style. The huge picture windows give the best views of the town and river, all enjoyed in comfort. This apartment offers a lounge with dining area, well equipped kitchen, bathroom and double bedroom. Everything Dartmouth has to offer is just moments from the door, allowing you the freedom to explore the plethora of independent shops, restaurants, bars and art galleries on foot. However if you wish to go further afield, you can relax knowing that you can easily park your car on your return. Blackpool Sands, Slapton and Bantham beaches are all nearby. Dogs are welcome by prior arrangement (max 2) for an additional charge of £20 per dog, per night.

Please note there are 4 steep steps at the entrance of the property.

A car is recommended when staying at the property
  • Road from Exeter (43.0 miles)

Harbour Living is located above The Bakehouse on the Quay.  To the left of Boots the Chemist is a path which branches to the right that takes you to the rear of the properties.  You will see the front door, which has two steps up to it and the key box is located on the left hand side.

Harbour Living has private, off-road parking nearby, between Junk and Disorderly and Dartmouth Clinic.  The postcode is TQ6 9NF.

Centrally located, the roads to Harbour Living are narrow and are often busy with seasonal traffic so please drive carefully and slowly. If you wish to take a second car, you will need to leave it in a public car park. The main car park in Dartmouth is Mayors Avenue but spaces are highly sought after in high season and cannot be reserved.

    Arriving by car
The easiest way to come to Harbour Living and explore South Devon is by car; simply enter the property’s address into your navigation system.  However, we have also provided details below to help make our guests’ journeys easier.
If you are coming from the M5 Motorway or Exeter Airport…
Follow the signage for Plymouth (A38) until you see junction for the A384 to Totnes. Once you have reached Totnes, simply follow the signs for Dartmouth (A381 and then the A3122). You will eventually arrive at the top of Dartmouth via Townstal Road, please be aware that this is a very long and steep road so we recommend that you remain in a low gear. At the bottom of the hill, stay left and follow B3205 along North Embankment Road. Turn right at the harbour and Harbour Living overlooks the harbour on The Quay.
If you are coming via Torquay, Paignton or Brixham…
We recommend that you take the Dartmouth Higher Ferry from Kingswear due to its larger size. Tickets can be purchased on their website in advance or you can pay on the day with either cash or card. Use the link below to find out more information regarding the ferry sailings and service.  Disembark from the Higher Ferry drive along North Embankment Road, turn right at the harbour and Harbour Living overlooks the harbour on The Quay.
