Glebe Farm B&B Information

Description

Glebe Farm provides a restful getaway in a thatched 16th century farm house, set in 5 acres of rural countryside and yet a short distance from a number of excellent eateries. We believe in soft towels, lots of hot water, a seat by the fire and tea with homemade shortbread. We provide an extensive breakfast to in house guests and at £10 per head for the self catering Shippen, using local or home produce wherever possible, in a relaxed environment. We are adjacent to South Pool Creek, part of the Salcombe Estuary, allowing small boats to be launched from the property at high tide. We provide room for bicycle and boat storage if required. The beautiful rolling countryside of the South Hams is on our doorstep and extensive coastal walks are but a short journey away. We are less than 10 minutes drive from the beaches opposite Salcombe, where a foot ferry can be used to visit the town. We can advise on the best places to visit, walks to suit your abilities and detailed local maps to help you get around
