East Lyn House Information

Description

Located within the beautiful Exmoor National Park, East Lyn House is a beautiful Victorian villa on the banks of the East Lyn river. Built around 1870 the house has wonderful views of the river and woodland path towards Watersmeet and down to the village, harbour and sea beyond. East Lyn House has five double en-suite bedrooms, two king en-suite bedrooms and one twin en-suite. Our rooms are spread over two floors, and have been newly refurbished and individually decorated. Each room enjoys either beautiful views along the river or towards the village, harbour and sea. Every bedroom has free wifi, tea and coffee making facilities, flat screen TV and Crabtree & Evelyn 'La Source' toiletries. Breakfast is served each morning between 8.30am-9.15am. We offer a delicious continental buffet which includes a choice of cereals, yoghurts, croissants and fresh fruit salad. We also offer a selection of hot, cooked breakfast, Full English, scrambled or poached eggs and smoked salmon. Both cold and hot breakfasts are included in your tariff. We do offer free guest parking, subject to availability.

Accessibility

We do not have any facilities for those with mobility issues; all our bedroom are on the first and second floors, so those with mobility issues may find this difficult. We will of course, assist wherever we can.

  • Road from M5 (44.0 miles)
    From the M5 - Come off the M5 at Junction 25. Onto the A358. Continue along the A358, at Williton it turns into A39. Continue along the A39 through Dunster, Porlock and down Countisbury Hill. At the bottom of Countisbury Hill, is Lynmouth. Second turning on the left - Watersmeet Road. East Lyn House is situated just up Watersmeet Road on the left. Guest parking is behind the house and only available from 4pm on day of check-in. Entrance to East Lyn House is on Watersmeet Road.

    From the M25 - Come off the M25 at Junction 12. Onto the M3. M3 turns into the A303, at Ilminster take the A358, at Williton it turns into A39. Continue along the A39 down Countisbury Hill. At the bottom of Countisbury Hill, is Lynmouth. Second turning on the left - Watersmeet Road. East Lyn House is situated just up Watersmeet Road on the left.
