The Cottage Inn
Note From The Hosts
Welcome to the Cottage Inn in Lynbridge.
If you love Nature and a relaxed environment a stay at The Cottage might be just what you are after, Accommodation is newly refurbished and has all the modern amenities you might require but the old pub has the quirks you might hope for in a British countryside break.
As hosts we are not into fine dining or silver service but we like to think everything we serve is quality and served with thought.
The Cottage Inn has a small but well formed team of happy, chatty people who cant wait to meet some new friends.
The Cottage Inn is a historic building that was built late 17th century, as such was not designed with the same access standards of today.
All of our rooms are accessed via staircases so may not be suitable for people with physical disabilities.
The entrance to our car park has been considered a little narrow, however if accessed from Lynton fits a courrier sized van through, If you are worried please view picture for perspective.
Directions
A car is recommended when staying at the property
Roadfrom Barbrook(1.0 miles)
From Barbrook filling station take the B23234 towards Lynton, After a mile the road starts to drop and you will notice Sunny Lyn Camp site on your right, we are the next right after Sunny Lyn.
Please note that you will need to turn around to access our drive, under normal conditions this would happen in the public car park next to the pub but this is currently so you may need to drive straight ahead to Lynton to turn around.
Access to our drive is considered tight for some vehicles, Our brewery van which is a courrier van will fit but is the largest vehicle to get access, Landrovers, Range Rovers etc use the car park daily but if you are a nervous driver please consider Lynbridge has no further parking available at this time so if you chose to park in Lynton or Barbrook a 10 minute woodland walk will be required.
