The Linton Hotel Information

Description

The Linton Hotel was originally called The Golden Lion Hotel (detailed in 1835 by a local minister) then changed its name to The Red Lion and again to The Bridgend (1980’s) and is now known as The Lintonhotel and steakhouse No matter the name the welcome is always guaranteed to be warm and friendly. Situated on the edge of the River Tyne within the beautiful historical village of East Linton, The Linton Hotel is ideal for a those wishing to enjoy the local area. Our superb Steakhouse restaurant offers an excellent range of local produce. We strive to be the best our focus is on all east lothian grown produce as much as we can . We take a great deal of care to ensure that your visit, no matter how short, is one to be enjoyed and remembered for some time to come. The biggest compliment anyone can pay us is to be confident in recommending The Linton to friends, family and colleagues and to, of course, come back to visit again.

Accessibility

We regret that due to the age of The Linton - we are only able to offer dining to guests in wheelchairs. We have disabled toilets and dining is on the ground floor with no steps into the bulding. Our bar is also accessible to wheelchair users.

    From the City By Pass travel along the A1 heading South towards Berwick. At Haddington take the Old A1 road towards East Linton. PLEASE NOTE THAT EAST LINTON IS A SMALL RURAL VILLAGE - BY CAR IT WILL TAKE APPROXIMATELY 45 MINUTES FROM BOTH THE AIRPORT OR CENTRE OF EDINBURGH. BEING LOCATED IN A RURAL SPOT, PUBLIC TRANSPORT LATE IN THE EVENING CAN BE LIMITED. FOR THOSE SEEKING TO MAKE RESERVATIONS WITH US OVER THE NEW YEAR HOLIDAY PERIOD - PLEASE BE AWARE OF THIS AS THE LAST BUS IS 11PM
