Description

Nineteen is a tasteful and contemporary, boutique hotel in a beautiful converted 200-year-old Victorian townhouse in the heart of Brighton’s Kemp Town area. We are just a stone’s throw from the beach with the pier being within easy walking distance. We are central to all of Brighton's key attractions, bars, pubs and eateries are just a short walk away, this includes the famous Pavilion, i360, Pier & Lanes shopping district.

Accessibility

Guests should be aware that there are several steps to enter the guest house. There are railings that guests can use as an aid, but we do not have formal facilities like lifts or ramps.

Directions

  • Road from Gatwick Airport (30.0 miles)
    Head out of Gatwick Airport Exit Roads and take route signposted M23 Brighton. Drive down the M23 and once you reach Brighton, follow signs to seafront and once on seafront look for Manchester Street. Drive up Manchester Street and turn right onto St. James Street. Follow the one way street and Broad Street is on the right hand side (about 200 yards along the road or so)
  • Train from London (50.0 miles)
    Trains to Brighton run frequently from London Victoria, London Bridge, London Farringdon, London Blackfriars (amongst others). Once you arrive at Brighton station, Nineteen is about a 10 minute walk. Walk down Queens Road, turn left at the Clock Tower and walk down North Street. At the bottom of North Street, head straight on and head up St. James Street. Broad Street is located up St James Street.
  • Coach from London (50.0 miles)
    The National Express Coach runs frequently from London Victoria and takes around 2 hours. The Coach station is located about a 5 minute walk from Nineteen. Head east towards the Old Steine and walk parallel to the seafront along Marine Drive. Broad Street is located just after Charles Street.
  • Road from Heathrow Airport (69.0 miles)
    From Heathrow take the M25 anti-clockwise, signposted towards Gatwick Airport. Come off the M25 at Junction 7 signposted M23 - Gatwick Airport. Take the M23 southbound. Pass Gatwick Airport and continue down the M23/A23 signposted Brighton. Once in Brighton, take signs for Seafront
