Accessibility

The Apollo is a terraced building of approximately 100 years old. With a building of this age you will expect it to suffer from movement in the foundations throughout those years. The entrances and staircases are mostly the original sizes, there is only one ground floor bedroom. We try to offer an allergy free environment throughout the buildings i.e. we do not have any feathers in the pillows or duvets and the owner is allergic to most animals including dogs. Therefore, animals and smoking are not welcome on the premises.

Directions

  • Road from London & Tonbridge (50.0 miles)
Take the A 21 toward Hastings. When you are approaching Hastings you will notice three mini roundabouts in close succession. Go straight over all three, ignoring the signs to Hastings. Keep on the A21 and keep to the left lane at the next traffic lights. This will now direct you to Hastings town centre (A21). Pass small parade of shops, police & fire stations. Continue down the hill (30mph) & take the second on the left. On the corner there is a warehouse/shop named ESK.
  • Train from Station (0.02 miles)
Exit the station & walk on the right footpath. At the end of station approach, DO NOT CROSS OVER but do a U turn and walk down the hill towards the Domino's pizza. We are situated opposite.
  • Road from Eastbourne & Brighton (20.0 miles)
Take the A259 to Hastings. Travel along the seafront, opposite the pier turn left and immediately turn right up the hill. At the top of the hill follow the road around to the left. At the end turn right, down the hill and take the 2nd on the left into Cambridge Gardens. On the corner there is a commercial building named ESK Warehouse.
  • Coach from Coach drop off point (0.02 miles)
Walk through the shopping centre with the Town Hall on the left & Mr Beans on the right. Carry on passed BHS. At the end you will see the new Hastings College & Sainsburys in front of you. Turn left, straight over the traffic lights. We are situated opposite the Domino's Pizza estabilshment.
  • Boat from Dover & Rye (30.0 miles)
Take the A259 to Hastings. Travel along the seafront pass the car parks on your left. Iceland shop & Italian Way restaurant on your right. Turn right at the 2nd traffic lights into the town centre. Follow the road through the centre, up the hill to the traffic lights. Turn left (straight on will take you to the station).
