The Inn At Kingsbarns Information

Description

The Inn at Kingsbarns is a traditional family run Inn with high quality accommodation. All rooms have spacious en-suites, (four with bath/showers and two with shower only), luxury complimentary toiletries and soft fluffy towels. All our bedrooms are supplied with Egyptian cotton bedding, mini fridge with complimentary fruit and drinks awaiting your arrival, safe and ironing facilities as well as tea and coffee making facilities. Chairs and flat screen tv’s complete the rooms. The 2 family rooms are situated on the ground floor, along with the 2 King-size rooms and the Super King-size room is up 1 flight of stairs (18 steps, no elevator). Home cooked food will be available in the bar and the snug which has a cosy fireplace. The name Kingsbarns was derived from the Kings of Scotland storing the grain from the very productive local ambient climate before being transported to Dunfermline and Falkland Palaces from the 11th to the 16th Century, whereafter the Monarchy moved to glorious Edinburgh, Scotland’s Capital City. Situated in the heart of ‘golf country’ this area, called the East Neuk of Fife, has reputedly the most sunshine hours than any other part of Scotland. The Inn is located in the Conservation Village of Kingsbarns, close to the bus stop and 10 mins walk to the world renowned Kingsbarns Golf Club and the Fife Coastal Path. We are to be found on the Main route A917 from St. Andrews to the fishing Villages of Crail, Anstruther, Pittenweem, St. Monans and Elie, where you can still watch the fish being landed on a daily basis. Two of Scotland’s greatest icons, whisky and golf were the inspiration behind the Kingsbarns Distillery which opened its doors in 2014. St Andrews is a vibrant University town which has the 3rd oldest University in the English speaking world, founded in 1413
