This delightful family run guest house assures you of a very warm welcome. We provide that personal touch that makes the difference and take pride in making your stay as comfortable as possible. Our rooms are modern, spacious amd mainly en suite. All rooms have flat screen tvs and tea/coffee making facilities. Our generous breakfasts are freshly cooked to order or can be pre-ordered as a take -away. The property is conveniently situated on the outskirts of the city centre within convienient reach of all universities, the cruise & ferry port, The Mayflower Theatre and the many bars & restaurants that Southampton has to offer. We are a short 15 minute drive from the beautiful New Forest.

Over the past 17 years, we have extended a warm welcome to travellers from around the world. We have catered and looked after guests who are visiting Southampton for the first time, or are returning to us on a repeat basis. Our staff are extremely friendly and take time to ensure that your stay is pleasant and comfotable. Directions

  • Road from M3 Junction 14 (2.0 miles)

    1. Exit M3 at Junction 14 - signpost Southampton A33 & proceed to Chilworth Roundabout.

    2. At Chilworth Roundabout take 2nd exit onto Bassett Ave./A33

    3. At next roundabout take 2nd exit onto Winchester Road/A35

    4. At the next roundabout take 1st exit onto HILL LANE /A35

    5. Immediately arrive at mini roundabout and take 2nd exit onto HILL LANE

    6. Proceed along HILL LANE - the GUEST HOUSE can be found on the left hand side, prior

         to the second set of traffic lights, and just before The Winston Hotel.


  • Train from SOUTHAMPTON CENTRAL (1.0 km)

    A short walk approx 8 minutes to the GUEST HOUSE


    Exit train station via Platform 1.

    Head east on Blechynden Terrace towards Wyndham Place

    Turn left onto Wyndham Place

    Turn left onto Commercial Road

    At traffic lights turn right onto Hill Lane

    At second set of traffic lights, the GUEST HOUSE is 20 yeards on the right, directly next door to The Winston Hotel
