Alladale Wilderness Reserve

This beautiful sleeping, sleeping a maximum of 8, stands in gentle contrast to the untamed landscape that surrounds it. Poised in the cradle of Glen Alladale, Eagle’s Crag is the pitch perfect hideaway for friends and family. Boasting 2 master bedrooms, and a very large attic room which sleeps 4 adults or up to 6 children, Eagle's offers 2 large, private wet rooms down stairs, and 1 shared bathroom upstairs. All finishes are of the highest standard, set in a luxurious design. The large living room and dining area comes with floor heating, a very large flat screen TV, audio system, fire place, and mounted binoculars to enjoy the stunning surroundings. The large, fully equipped kitchen comes with a coffee machine, coffee grinder, juicer, nutri-bullet and many other facilities. We have a special Cottages Menu available, prepared by our own chef Natasha Buttigieg who will take care of your fully catered stay.

A beautifully rustic bunkhouse deep in the heart of the Reserve, providing the perfect setting for wild retreats, school groups, or just a complete escape from it all. Available May to October, Deanich Lodge is one of the most remote buildings in Scotland – located 7 miles out from the main lodge, where our red deer gather, and close to where the golden eagles nest – and has been sensitively restored with an interior both practical and authentic, making it possible to be truly ‘off-grid’ and wholly connected with nature. Only reachable by 4x4, Deanich does not offer WIFI or cell-phone coverage. Sleeping 18 over 7 bunk-beds and 2 singles over 3 bedrooms, and a double in a separate bedroom, it is perfect for a true back to basic experience. The large open space living room and dining room are situated right next to the fully equipped kitchen. The dry room is ideally located right next to the entrance, to quickly dry wet shoes, socks, and clothes after a full day of being outside. Both large shared bathrooms are located on the ground floor. Deanich is self-catered, but basic larder, fire wood, bed linen, and towels are provided.

A beautifully appointed two-bedroom cottage alongside the River Alladale that affords stunning views all along the Glen. Ghillie’s Rest has been designed to offer an intimate Highland retreat providing easy access to the whole of Alladale Wilderness Reserve. There’s a galley kitchen with all necessary fixtures and fittings, and once settled there’s no need to ever actually leave the Reserve as your reservation includes catering services. The downstairs master bedroom comes with a super king double bed, while the upstairs bedroom comes with a king sized double. Both bedrooms can be set up as twins. The downstairs shared bathroom comes with a bath tub and separate rain shower. You can enjoy the cozy living room while watching tv, or listen to some music on the speaker system, while you enjoy a roaring fire in the wood burner. The dining room comes with ample space for all, overlooking the breathtaking scenery that surrounds you.

The ultimate private getaway, this Victorian lodge is an escape for all seasons, where you, your family and your guests can relax peacefully, or enjoy the outdoors before returning to your home-away-from-home. Set against rugged hills and the country’s most northerly ancient Caledonian pine forest, the Alladale Lodge guarantees seclusion and absolute privacy; and affording you the opportunity to experience the heart of the Highlands in true comfort. All 7 en-suites have their own unique style, size and layout, and come with a comfortable kind-sized double bed, flat screen satellite TV and free WIFI. The modern en-suites have both bath and shower facilities. The ground floor room is wheelchair accessible. All doubles can be changed to twins. The lodge boasts a very comfortable drawing room with 2 fire places and a baby grand piano. You can relax and enjoy each others company here, while our staff attends to your needs. The adjacent dining room easily seats 14 on the large adjustable dining table and also comes with its own fire place. Further back in the lodge you can enjoy the sauna, the fully equipped gym, or schedule a variety of massages and/or beauty treatments (not included). Our boardroom seats up to 20 and comes with the latest AV equipment. One may also enjoy a game of snooker in our billiards room. Finally, we have a dry / boots room filled with wellies, boots, and coats for you to use while exploring our reserve, or during the wide variety of activities on offer.
